Melanie Amaro pays tribute to the victims of the Newtown.

If you assumed that Melanie Amaro was living in a mansion worthy of appearing on MTV’s Cribs then you’re wrong. In fact, she is still just a humble girl singing on her webcam via her family’s living room as depicted in a recent Ustream session/tribute to the victims of the Newtown shootings that she hosted for her fans.

Amaro belted a pitch-perfect rendition of Destiny’s Child’s “Stand Up for Love” as she honored those lives lost during the Newtown massacre. In fact, her performance was so good that I’d suggest that she sign up for The X Factor (US) because she could easily win the $5 million contract and become a huge star! Wait a minute…never mind.
