Brandy treats high fans with the release of a new song called “How High”.

Before Vh1 blessed us with the debut of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, it was Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business that kept us from sinking into depression. During that show, Brandy previewed a new song called “How High” and she finally released the full track as a Christmas gift to her fans.

“How High” was produced by Get Familiar but didn’t make the final cut of Brandy’s still brilliant Two Eleven album. Judging by the guest verse by her rapping alter ego, Bran’Nu, it’s obvious why she has offered it as a free download instead of as an official single.

Replace Bran’Nu’s verse with a verse by Eve and “How High” would have been a fine addition to Two Eleven. The harmonies are slick and the melody is catchy enough to make a great album track. The song isn’t single-worthy but it definitely works as great ambient music while browsing the web for last minute Christmas gifts.
