Rebecca Ferguson makes a guest appearance on ‘This Morning’.

The Christmas season is the time of year when artists pop out of obscurity in a bid to boost the sales of their albums. So, it was no surprise when Rebecca Ferguson made a guest appearance on ‘This Morning’ to plug her ‘Heaven’ album with a performance of her latest single, ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’.

To date, ‘Heaven’ has been certified double platinum in the UK. Shockingly, ‘Backtrack’ and ‘Nothing’s Real but Love’ were the only song among the four singles to crack the top 40 of the Official UK Singles Chart. It peaked at #15 shortly after her performance on ‘The X Factor (UK)’.

Despite her moderate success in the UK, it is likely that Ferguson would have had a much larger impact if she wasn’t in direct competition with the far more popular Adele. Honestly, ‘Heaven’ is a brilliant body of work that easily rivals ’21′ but most people will never know because the latter dominates the spotlight of the media.
