Adele has eight Grammy Awards to her name but she will have to make room on her mantle for another trophy of equal importance. Stunning the world with her everlasting reign, the true singer-songwriter has taken home the honor for Best Original Song at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards!

“I was not expecting this! Adele exclaimed as she took to the Golden Globes stage to accept the Best Original Song title for the James Bond 007: Skyfall theme, “Skyfall”. “Thank you for letting me be a part of your world!” Ironically, given her global domination during the last two years, it seems as though we are actually part of Adele’s world and she so graciously allows us to live in it.

“Skyfall” has also been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song and we’ll find out if it nabbed the honor on February 24th. Watch Adele accept her Golden Globe below:
