Melanie Fiona sits down with director Larenz Tate and actor Omari Hardwick.

Most artists would have given up on a slow-selling album and moved onto another project but not Melanie Fiona. Rejuvenated by her Grammy Award nomination for “Wrong Side of a Love Song”, the songstress has filmed a new video to support the record and shared this special behind the scenes footage of the shoot with Singersroom.

Directed by Larenz Tate and co-starring actor Omar Hardwick – ladies and gays are going to love this one – the “Wrong Side of a Love Song” video tells the story of a tragic love story. The track itself has only brought Fiona good fortune, however, because she has earned a Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance nod for the 2013 Grammy Awards show.
