Isn’t time just zooming forward with reckless abandon? Okay, maybe that was a bit dramatic but the fact that the taping of 2013 BET Honors show has already passed proves that this year is moving forward rather quickly. On the bright side, at least we have pictures to remember the event!

Filmed at the Warner Theatre, the BET Honors event featured appearances by Brandy, Alicia Keys, Luke James, Ledisi and Erykah Badu. The acts took turns rocking the stage as they celebrated Lisa Leslie, T.D. Jakes, Halle Berry, Clarence Avant and Chaka Khan for their contributions to sports, entertainment and social development.
