It’s that time of the year for the 2013 BET Honors and it’s closer than you may have expected. Set to air on February 11th, the show boasts an extensive list of performers, such as past honouree Alicia Keys, Brandy, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and Ledisi.

The BET Honors will celebrate the accomplishments of T.D. Jakes (Award for Education), Clarence Avant (Entrepreneur Award), Halle Berry (Award for Service), Chaka Khan (Award for Musical Arts) and Lisa Leslie (Awards for Athletics). Other acts expected to join the fun are Erykah Badu, Wayne Brady, Mint Condition, Ledisi, and The SOS Band.

Expect all the BET Honors action to be pre-taped on January 12th 2013 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. Watch Brandy perform “Wildest Dreams” at the 2012 Black Girls Rock show on BET for a refresher of her talent:
