Drake is probably the most consistent rapper on the music scene today but he didn’t achieve that status by resting on his laurels. Instead, he has figured out the effectiveness of being timely with his releases and he will continue that trend with a new single on the night of the 2013 Grammy Awards.
With music fans locked in to media outlets for the latest news regarding the Grammy ceremony, Drake will capitalise on the moment by issuing a new song reportedly called “Started From the Bottom”. The track was produced by his longtime collaborator Noah ’40′ Shebib and a Little X-directed video has already been filmed.
To date, Drake’s Take Care album, which was released in November 2011, has sold over 1.93 million copies in the US. Just so you know, that is almost 400K more than his Thank Me Later 2010 debut set. Watch the video “Take Care (Ft. Rihanna)” from Take Care below:
