Maxwell teases with his latest album in the ‘Summers” trilogy.

Those of us who were good in 2012 by staying drugs, gossip or copies of Chris Brown’s Fortune album are about to be rewarded with a late Christmas present. Sliding down the chimney and hitting the right notes to make Mrs. Claus cheat on Santa is Maxwell who has revealed the titles of several songs from his Summers’ trilogy.

The first album from the Summers’ collection was BLACKsummers’night was released in 2009 and was quickly certified platinum by the RIAA. The record earned Maxwell a stunning six Grammy Awards, of which he won two – Best Male R&B Vocal performance (“Pretty Wings”) and Best R&B Album.

However, since that time, Maxwell fell off the radar of the music scene and only appeared on random tracks from other artists’ albums. Among those stars was Alicia Keys, who worked with the R&B crooner on the song “Fire We Make” from her Girl on Fire LP in 2012.
