Did you know that Elvis Presley is the most prolific artist in the history of the Billboard 200?
Elvis scored 126 entries on the Billboard 200 throughout his career, which is more than any other act in history. 10 of those sets topped the chart – the second most for any solo artist in history, following Jay-Z’s 12 leaders. Together, his albums have spent a total of 67 weeks at the top of the lineup.
Michael Jackson and Garth Brooks tail Elvis’ cumulative lead with a sum of 51 weeks each at the top of the Billboard 200. How did Elvis gather his 67-week total? Several of his albums ruled the chart for several weeks, including Blue Hawaii, which ruled for 20 weeks.
