Did you know that Mariah Carey holds the record for being the youngest person ever nominated for the Grammy Awards’ four major categories?
Carey was only twenty years of age when she was nominated for the Album of the Year (Mariah Carey), Record of the Year (“Vision of Love”), Song of the Year (“Vision of Love”) and Best New Artist at the 1991 Grammy Awards. However, she only won the Best New Artist trophy as well as another for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (“Vision of Love”).
