Who is funding all these Nelly Furtado productions? For an artist who can’t score a hit, she certainly has put forward some striking visuals during the last few months that could make you think that she was commercially relevant. Her latest release: a new video for “Waiting for the Night”.

Mixing a hint of early Jennifer Lopez with some Two-Face from Batman, Furtado actually crafted an impressive video for “Waiting for the Night”. Perhaps her reported aspirations to be an independent artist could work in her favour. Really, even if nobody buys her music, her work is still fantastic.
