Let’s be honest, the main reason that most of us eager to watch the upcoming season of American Idol is to see if Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey will scratch each other’s eyes out. Now, thanks to the former’s appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show where she hinted that the possibility of such an incident is real, that anticipation has reached a new peak.

Minaj confirmed that Carey’s “slick comments” were the trigger for her notorious vicious reaction on the American Idol set in North Carolina last year. So, she is quite nervous about what might happen on live television when they are debating about the futures of the contestants and challenging each other’s positions.
