Tamar Braxton appears on ’106 and Park: Swag Check’ online series.

Tamar Braxton’s new “Love & War” video is remarkably similar to Mariah Carey’s “H.A.T.E.U.” and now we know why. Following her appearance on BET’s 106 & Park earlier this week, the over the top singer made a stop on the show’s online series, Swag Check, where she expressed her admiration for the icon.

“It’s very hard for me to conduct a conversation with her,” Braxton said of her interactions with Carey. “I love her and respect her so much, and so the time that I did try to, I had to look down the whole time…I just couldn’t do it. I’m still not ready!”

Braxton also described the direction of her new album, which will be released in March, as flirtatious, fun and a great representation of her vision. Watch her segment on Swag Check below:
