Jay-Z’s wife embraces Oprah Winfrey.

Had it not been for Jay-Z’s influence, his wife would still be an awkward girl dressed in Tina Knowles’ latest designs with crimped hair and too many misplaced vocal runs. At least, that’s what I think Beyonce meant in the latest previews of her upcoming Oprah’s Next Chapter interview.

“I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man,” suggested Beyonce as she chatted about her love and admiration for Jay-Z. “It just gives me such a foundation.” Can you imagine how lost she would be without Jay-Z? Maybe that’s why her last two albums didn’t sell as well as their predecessors – he wasn’t on them. Let the all-powerful Jay-Z  be praised!
