Brandy belts “Without You” at 2013 BET Honours.

The 2013 BET Honors finally aired earlier this week. The 6th annual event, which was filmed last month in Washington D.C, celebrated the works of Lisa Leslie, T.D. Jakes, Halle Berry, Clarence Avant and Chaka Khan with performances by Alicia Keys, Brandy, Ledisi and Erykah Badu.

Keys honored Berry with a rendition of her latest self-empowering anthem, “Brand New Me” while Brandy rocked the crowd with a dramatic performance of “Without You”. Badu also got the opportunity to honor Khan (her favourite singer) by singing “What Cha Gonna Do For Me” and Ledisi followed up with “Everlasting Love” and “Ain’t Nobody”.
