Azealia Banks prefers to engage industry veterans in pointless beef than collaborate with them on quality music, and that’s probably why her Broke with Expensive Taste album keeps getting delayed. Just ask Eve who revealed during her The Breakfast Club interview that the young rapper refused the chance to work on her upcoming Lip Lock LP.
According to Eve, she contacted Banks to record a track for Lip Lock but the latter responded by simply saying, “I’m busy.” That is exactly the type of drama that Eve doesn’t appreciate from Banks but she continues to respect her hustle and what she brings to the music scene as a lyricist.
Don’t assume that such a set back has upset Eve, though, because she is moving full speed ahead with Lip Lock. In fact, she is hoping that the record will start a movement among Hip-Hop fans when it is released on May 14th. Watch her talk about the project and more on The Breakfast Club below:
