Ever since Mariah Carey transformed into the mini skirt-loving diva of all divas in 1997, the butterfly has been the symbol of her freedom. Hence, it’s quite fitting to see her animal spirit soar through the skies on the single cover for her new song, “Almost Home”.

Set to be released on February 19th, “Almost Home” will appear on the soundtrack of the latest Disney blockbuster, Oz the Great & Powerful. However, this isn’t Carey’s first contribution to the film industry as a performer or composer.
