Did you know that Georg Solti has won more Grammy Awards than any other artist in history?
Throughout his career, Solti won a total of 31 Grammys, which is more than any other act in the history of the ceremony. The legendary composer and conductor leads his nearest rivals, Quincy Jones and Alison Krauss, both of whom have 27 trophies to their names.
Solti, who did in 1997 at the age of 84 years, has also been honored with the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the Trustees Award. Watch him conduct the Hungarian Connection concert in 1995 below:
