Did you know that Destiny’s Child’s debut studio album was released fifteen years ago?

Destiny’s Child arrives in stores on February 17th 1998 via Columbia Records. Billed as the next En Vogue, Destiny’s Child achieved moderate success with the album, which was certified platinum in the US on the heels of the group’s first top ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100, “No No No (Ft. Wyclef Jean)”.

Since that time, Destiny’s Child has endured multiple lineup changes and Beyonce effectively used the the exposure to launch a major solo career. Additionally, Kelly Rowland has scored numerous hits on the R&B formats and the other members are still alive.
