At one of the spectrum we have Alicia Keys who can barely hit a high note and at the other we have Jennifer Hudson yelling far too many. Yet, the latter calmed the hungry woman dwelling within her during her performance of “America the Beautiful” at the 2013 Super Bowl.

Sparing the students of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Chorus any further chorus, Hudson held back as she sang live on the world’s biggest stage. Yes, the were moments when she found herself struggling not to yell, “I am Hudson, hear me roar,” but for the most part, the young diva kept herself in check.
