Alicia Keys finally finds the right key in Seattle.

When Alicia Keys first announced the dates of her Set the World on Fire Tour, many predicted that it would be the end of her already struggling voice. However, she proved her critics, among whom was yours truly, wrong last evening when she kicked off the venture on a great note in Seattle.

Performing at the WaMu Theatre, Keys belted her hits “Girl on Fire”, “Fallin’”, “Not Even the King” and “Empire State of Mind”. She surprisingly remained on key for the majority of the show and unlike her performances from her recent media campaign to plug her Girl on Fire album, the notes weren’t restricted by her shrinking vocal range.
