Rihanna’s “Pour it Up (Remix)” single cover

Great, another low budget so called remix. Further insulting the art of revamping tracks, Rihanna has released a somewhat reworked version of her new Mike WiLL Made It-produced song, “Pour it Up”, which features rappers Young Jeezy, Juicy J, Rick Ross and T.I.

Rihanna boasts about her money in “Pour it Up” yet she couldn’t spare enough change to commission a proper remix. How hard was it to make a few key changes and add a new melody? I guest we shouldn’t be surprised because Mike WiLL Made It basically recycled “Pour it Up” from Juicy J’s “Bandz a Make Her Dance”, thus proving that creativity isn’t his strong point.
