Nice sweater, Trey Songz.

Last night, while many of you were sleeping or raiding the fridge for that piece of cake you’re now regretting, Trey Songz released his new video for “Fumble”. So, why am I only just posting it? I honestly thought that the clip was a joke and that the official production would have surfaced later today.

“Fumble” tells the story of Songz taking advantage of a lost love and later wishing to have her back. Quite frankly, it’s a rather cliche R&B storyline but it does leave room for an accompanying video with a very clever plot twists and turns. Yet, true to form, Songz fumbled the opportunity to make a clip worth watching.

Throughout the entire “Fumble” production, we see scenes of Songz standing in an empty room while flailing his arms as well as footage of him performing during his tour. Meanwhile, we never get a shot of the girl he supposedly hurt, although his brooding shirtless pose midway through the video will probably distract his horny fans from that glaring oversight.

All in all, “Fumble” is just another advertisement from Songz’s supposed sex appeal and fashions. I must admit, though, I really like that sweater. Watch the “Fumble” video below:
