Shakira makes her debut on ‘The Voice’.

The new season of The Voice premiered last evening via NBC, and it introduced new coaches Usher and Shakira as welcome replacements for Cee Lo Green and Shakira. Kicking off their residency with a bang, the pair joined forces with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine for a rendition of The Beatles’ “Come Together”.

Usher and Shakira will only appear on The Voice for a single season as Aguilera and Green are expected to return. Can’t you just imagine Aguilera waiting in the parking lot with the engine running as she prays to return to relevancy via the show next year?
