The Weeknd’s ‘Kiss Land’ album cover

The Weeknd’s voice has been wafting over radio airwaves for months yet many people still can’t match his haunting tone to a face. However, that’s about to change as the mysterious singer is preparing to release his first full album of new material called Kiss Land.

In November, The Weeknd issued his Trilogy debut set, which was a mastered compilation of his House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence mixtapes. The album debut at #4 on the Billboard 200 with sales of 86K copies in its first week, and has since sold 289K units in the US alone and was certified gold by the RIAA in December.

Additional information regarding Kiss Land has yet to be revealed but the record is expected to arrive in late spring. Listen to my favourite The Weeknd song, “High for This”, below:
