It’s certainly a great week to be Rihanna. Well, if she wasn’t suffering from seems to be an 8-year battle with laryngitis. Thanks to the success of her latest hit single, “Stay (Ft. Mikky Ekko)”, the superstar’s name has bulleted up the US charts to lofty positions on both the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Hot 100.

“Stay” has rebounded to #4 on the Hot 100, thanks to sales of 236K downloads (up 12%) and 55 million audience impressions (up 18%). The song has earned Rihanna her 27th title to sell over 1 million copies in the US, both as a lead performer and a guest act on other artists’ hits.

Meanwhile, on the Billboard 200, Rihanna’s Unapologetic album topped 800K copies sold this week by moving another 29K units. With just a 1% increase in sales compared to last week, the LP moved to #6 on the chart. The last time Unapologetic ranked that high on the Hot 100 was in December 2012.
