Chrisette Michele’s ‘Better’ album cover

There is one rule regarding album cover art to which most artist adhere: always look at the camera. Why is that so important? It gives the illusion that they are looking outward toward the consumer, thus establishing an immediate connection was possible buyers. Yet, Christte Michele did the opposite with her new Better set.

Reportedly carded to be released in the US on April 30th, although Michele stated via The Breakfast Club that it won’t arrive until June, Better includes the singles “Charades (Ft. 2 Chainz)” and “A Couple of Forevers”. Also, let’s not forget the shot of Michele’s legs on the cover.
