Forget a diamond because Mariah Carey is shining like the sun.

The Lava Lizard was the first to report that Mariah Carey and Miguel were planning to collaborate on a new single, and just moments ago, the diva confirmed the news. Set to debut in a matter of days, the song is the official lead offering from Carey’s first non-Holiday album in almost four years.

According the teaser for the tune, Carey and Miguel’s duet is entitled “Beautiful”, and it will premiere on May 6th. As announced earlier today, the duo will perform the song during the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on May 24th, although widespread speculation indicates that they will first debut the tack during the American Idol finale on May 16th.

The video for “Beautiful” has already been filmed under the direction of Joseph Kahn. Watch the official teaser for the clip below:
