Further increasing his fans’ excitement for his upcoming sophomore album, Born Sinner, the true star of Roc Nation has released a new song called “Cole Summer” but maintains that it does not reflect the direction of his LP.
“Cole Summer” is a stripped back, raw testament to the 1990s Hip-Hop movement circa the now trouble Lauryn Hill. In the song, Cole raps about his humble success as a “cheap ass nigga” and his goals for the future. Meanwhile, his impact on the charts is far from meagre as the lead Born Sinner single, “Power Trip (Ft Miguel)”, has already climbed to #21 on the Billboard Hot 100.
