Anita Nicole’s “Ecstasy” single cover

The famed BRIT School has produced an extensive list of world class artists, including Amy Winehouse, Adele and Leona Lewis, and there is another young act preparing for her debut. The intriguing Anita Nicole will release her first EP later this month and to help launch her career, she stars in our latest instalment of Burning Up.

Nicole’s lead EP single is the sensual “Ecstasy” and it arrives it just the right moment. As a husky contralto, there is minor yet noticeable similarity between the 19-year old and the recently retired Toni Braxton. Yes, Nicole still has a long way to go before she will be comparable to diva but with the right grooming, there is great potential for her to fill the void on radio that thin-voiced Pop music sopranos simply can’t satisfy.
