Emeli Sande looks slimmer than usual.

Dancing with the Stars usually highlights slick choreography but Emeli Sande changed the tide of the show last evening with some special acrobatics of her own. Performing her hit single “Next to Me” for the first time on the reality TV stage, the singer showed off the flexibility of her lyric soprano voice.

“Next to Me” appears on Sande’s debut album, Our Version of Events, which has sold over 1.82 million copies in the UK and 142K units in the US. To date, the song has peaked at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #18 on Top 40/Mainstream radio. Not bad for an artist who is still relatively unknown in the US.
