Eve and her shiny new collar.

Eve continued to spread the word about her new Lip Lock album when she visited The Wendy Williams Show earlier today. However, instead of only providing press release answers to the nosy hosts answers, the rapper provided just a bit more insight regarding the delay of the record, which she attributed to label politics.

“I think [Lip Lock] wasn’t what the execs wanted and they just put it on the shelf,” Eve explained while chatting her former deal with Interscope Records. Thankfully, she has launched her own independent label to get the music to her fans and she is busy promoting it on the media circuit.
