As her fans continued to speculate about the identity of her former abuser, Kelly Rowland brought her testimony to the people during the a live performance of “Dirty Laundry” last evening. However, what the patrons of her first Lights Out Tour show didn’t expect was the waterworks the erupted halflway through the song.
Rowland burst into tears as she sang “Dirty Laundry” at The Filmore in Washington, D.C. last night. I’m not talking about the lone teardrop that Beyonce cues from her left eye during every rendition of “Flaws & All”. Rather, Rowland showed real emotion as she sang the lyrics of the revealing tune.
“Dirty Laundry” will appear on Rowland’s Talk a Good Game album on June 18th. Watch her breakdown at 4:19 below:
