J. Cole covers Billboard magazine

A great rapper knows that art imitates life and J. Cole understands that very well. For his new song, “Niggaz Know”, the rapper pulls the story of John Legend’s relationship woes directly from the headlines to keep his fans entertained as they wait for his Born Sinner album.

Born Sinner will arrive in stores on June 18th, which is the same day as Kanye West’s Yeezus. Don’t fret about Cole’s chances of success, though, because he has pulled out all the stops in his bid for the top spot of the charts. For instance, he is featured on the cover of Billboard magazine’s latest issue with the telling tagline “Reaching for Hip-Hop’s Crown.”
