Justin Timberlake has the highest-selling album of the year to date but his accomplishments don’t end on that note. Rather, the singer-songwriter scored the biggest radio hit of his career this week as his latest single, “Mirrors”, continued to make waves on the US charts.
“Mirrors” remained at #3 this week behind Macklemore & Lewis’ “Can’t Hold Us (Ft. Ray Dalton)” and Pink’s “Just Give Me a Reason (Ft. Nate Ruess)” but soared on the Billboard Radio Songs lineup for a second frame at #1. In fact, with 151 million audience impressions (up 6%), the song has topped “My Love (Ft. T.I.)” as the biggest radio hit of Timberlake’s career. The latter tune garnered a best week of 146 million audience impressions in December 2006.
Additionally, “Mirrors” sold another 142K downloads (down 9%) and generated over 3.5 million online streams (down 3%). The song’s parent album, The 20/20 Experience, has sold north of 1.89 million copies in the US since being released in March.
