By now, you should know what to expect from a Christina Aguilera performance – grunting, pointless runs and strained “belting” – so what’s the point in complaining? Earlier this evening, the singer surprised viewers of The Voice finale by joining Pitbull for a rendition of their hit, “Feel this Moment”, and did her usual nonsense.

On the bright side, despite sounding rough and far more weighted than her youth, Aguilera was clearly slimmer than she was in the last year. Indeed, she could actually breathe in her ensemble this time and happily bounced around the stage as she interacted with the crowd.

Aguilera will resume her role as a coach on The Voice during the show’s next season. Whether she is planning to have a new flop album ready by that time has yet to be confirmed. Watch her performance with Pitbull below:
