Chris Brown actually sings live.

The 2013 BET Awards kicked off with a bang this evening when Chris Brown hit the stage to perform his latest hits. However, the Michael Jackson tribute act wasn’t alone during his set as he was joined by Nicki Minaj, who surprised their fans by descending from the sky to assist her peer.

Brown performed “Fine China” and his latest single,  “Don’t Think They Know”, with the spirit of Aaliyah before Minaj came out for a rendition of a new song from his upcoming X album, which is due on july 16th. What a way to open the show: live vocals and an excited crowd. Doesn’t get much better than that.
