J. Cole flashes his crooked smile.

J. Cole is still grinding hard on the promotional trail for his new Born Sinner album. For his latest stop, the rapper appeared on The Breakfast Club as well as 106 & Park to talk about the record, competing with Kanye West and his widely discussed “Let Nas Down” song that details his relationship with the legend.

According to Cole on The Breakfast Club, is first commercial hit single, “Work Out”, disappointed Nas because it represented a detour from his introspective sound. So, he wrote “Let Nas Down”, which appears on Born Sinner”, as a reaction to that and even let his idol hear the track. Simply, Cole is a very brave man.
