Janelle Monae made waves with her new single, “Q.U.E.E.N.”, which features Erykah Badu, and she’s ready to ride them all the way to the top of the charts. The singer has announced the official release date of her highly anticipated The Electric Lady album, set due to arrive in September.
The Electric Lady will hit stores on September 10 and will entail collaborations with a range of R&B, Soul and Funk artists, the legendary Prince and Miguel. The latter will appear on the song Primetime”, which interpolates the Pixies’ famous “Where Is My Mind?”.
