Jay-Z records overrated lyrics over great beats.

The blogosphere has been buzzing nonstop since Jay-Z announced that his Magna Carta Holy Grail album will be released to retailers on July 7th. Now, to keep the interesting high, the icon has shared additional footage of his recording sessions with Timbaland in this new Samsung Galaxy commercial.

Samsung will release 1 million free copies of Magna Carta to Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4 and Note II users on July 4th but those units will not be counted by Nielsen SoundScan as part of the album’s total sales. In case you didn’t know, packaged deals offering free albums don’t qualify for record sales tallies, therefore preventing cheaters from prospering from inflated figures.
