K. Michelle wasn’t the only powerhouse singer who did just a bit too much at the MTV, VH1, CMT and LOGO 2013 O Music Awards this week. Luke James also rocked the crowd at the Times Square venue with a rendition of his hit song “I Want You” and as usual, added a flurry of extra high notes and riffs to the already impressive arrangement.

Later this year, James will release his Made to Love debut album. Of course, that will only happen if his oversinging doesn’t pop his vocal cords or rupture one of his lungs. Seriously, we all know James is an amazing singer but does he really have to push himself that hard every time he hits the stage?
