Jahmene Douglas sings a few high notes.

It was just two weeks ago that Jahmene Douglas was introduced to The Lava Lizard via Burning Up and he’s already back with the new video for his debut single, “Titanium”. The song is the lead release from his Love Never Fails album, which will hit stores in the UK on July 22nd.

Unfortunately, “Titanium” isn’t really a new song; it’s just a cover of David Guetta and Sia’s monster collaboration. Although Douglas delivers a brilliant vocal performance on the track, it may not have been the wisest move for him to cover a tune that was recently a big hit and is now considered old news.

Still, Douglas’ talent shines as he belts “Titanium” and proves that there is at least one powerhouse male vocalist in the younger generation. Watch the moving video for the song below:
