Robin Thicke was absent from The Lava Lizard roster for quite some time as a result of behind the scenes issues but since his “Blurred Lines” single became such a massive success, I been been bombarded with pleas to bring him back into the fold. So, now that he has announced the release date of his new album, it’s a great time to bring him back into the fold.
During his appearance on Kiss FM UK, Thicke confirmed that his Blurred Lines album will arrive in stores on July 8th. The title track has topped the Official UK Singles Chart as well as various other lineups across the globe, and has thus far peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 as his biggest US hit to date.
Aside from chatting about album news, Thicke spoke about Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj’s exist from American Idol, and he swiftly dismissed the feuding ladies with a tone of disgust. However, he was happy to nominate Alicia Keys for a position of the judging panel because she is a musician, singer and beautiful person.
