Sevyn Streeter summons the ghost of Aaliyah.

You’ve already heard Sevyn Streeter’s new single, “It Won’t Stop”, but the recorded cut is nothing compared to the live version! As part of her latest appearance on The Warner Sound, the songbird performed a stunning acoustic rendition of the song and proved that she is much more than just another studio singer.

Streeter is currently preparing her debut studio album for release later this year. Judging by her recent showings, she is heavily influenced by Aaliyah but the impressive aspects of her singing go far beyond just her tone. Rather, Streeter has a powerful voice and the range to go even further than her idol.
