Toni Braxton’s retirement announcement was either the cleverest way to promote the latest season of Braxton Family Values or she was simply playing a cruel joke on us. Either way, the contralto diva’s break from the music scene may already be over as she hinted on Twitter just moments ago.
Posting the message “September 2013″ and the above image of herself with her longtime collaborator Babyface, Braxton sparked excitement among her fans who have been waiting since 2010 for a new album. Although she failed to provide additional information regarding her plans at this time, Braxton indicated that she will discuss them further on Braxton Family Values this evening at 9pm ET on WE tv.
Earlier this year, Braxton confirmed on The Wendy Williams Show that she had lost interest in the music industry, thus ending her 20-year career. However, its seems as though Babyface and other producers have coaxed her back into the spotlight. Excuse me while I pass out…
