I am…Ashanti Fierce

When Ashanti claimed that BraveHeart would finally arrive on July 30, I indicated that the chances of that happening with slimmer than her vocal range. Unfortunately for the few people who care, I have been proven right as the singer has announced yet another delay…on the album’s release date.

‘Hey y’all! So BraveHeart is NOT coming out today we have clearances & legalities to take of,” Ashanti stated to her fans on Instagram. “It costs to be the boss!!! This CEO sh#t is Not A Game! Lol looking like September.” Did you notice that she didn’t give a concrete due date this time?

BraveHeart was initially set to arrive in February 2012 but has been postponed several times as Ashanti continues to struggled to secure a hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The album will be her first major release from her own label, Written Entertainment, and distributed via eOne Music.

Perhaps, Ashanti should focus on writing for other artists instead of wasting funds on additional videos and other promotional measures to get her recording career of the ground. She is very talented with a pen and she could make much more money as a songwriter. You know, since consumers repeatedly return her music to sender.

“Ashanti music? No thanks.”
