Proof that hard work pays off! Beyonce has enlisted Hip-Hop newcomer Iggy Azalea as her opening act for The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Australia. The 17-date trek kicks off on October 17 in Auckland, New Zealand, and will see Azalea perform hits such as “Work”, “Change Your Life” and “Bounce”.
Azalea made the announcement via Twitter. “I’m going on tour… With Beyonce!” she tweeted. “That was my special news for Australia! Can’t wait to join this tour! Thank you so much to everyone for supporting me! and thanks Beyonce!”
This will surely boost the momentum surrounding Azalea’s debut album, The New Classic, which is set to be dropped this fall. Tickets for the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Australian dates will go on sale to the general public on August 2.
