Terrible record sales aren’t going to keep Chrisette Michele down. Despite the poor commercial reception of her latest album, Better, the singer continued to plug her music this week by appearing on The Steve Harvey Morning Show where she performed “Charades” and “Love Won’t Leave Me Out”.
Better opened at #12 on the Billboard 200 with only 27K copies sold its its first week. Without a major hit single to bolster sales, the record quickly tumbled further down the chart and has yet to reenter the top 40 since being released on June 11.
Don’t worry, though, because as Michele told us in the past, she will be okay. Maybe she’s score a Grammy Nomination for her efforts later this year, although the chances of her winning that popularity contest are slim. Watch her Steve Harvey set below:
