Ciara enjoys Future’s second hand smoke.

Ciara’s busy week of heavy promotion came to an end last evening when she appeared on both Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and BET’s 106 & Park. No, I’m not just referring to the dramatic moment when her fans erupted into tears upon hearing the melodies of “Super Turnt Up” on the latter show. Ciara also performed the song for the first time.

After an awkward introduction by Bow Wow and Angela Simmons, Ciara hit the 106 & Park stage to sing “Super Turnt Up” with her dancers and a backtrack. All eyes were on the audience, however, as viewers expected her emotional fans to weep, scream, faint and ascend to heaven as Ciara “belted” the once in a lifetime classic.

Later in the evening, Ciara ventured to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to perform the “Body Party” remix with her boyfriend, T-Pain Future. As usual, there really wasn’t anything remarkable about their set but members of Ciara’s C-Squad lauded it and compared her to Janet Jackson.

Naturally, I have no comment about the parallels drawn between Ciara and Jackson because no matter what I say, I will be called a “hater.” So, let’s open the floor: Are Ciara really similar to the icon or are her fans blowing Future’s cigar smoke up her backside?
